It was a simple but very addictive game you could play with a joystick. Then last year at work a friend of mine told me they were going to release it for the Xbox Live Arcade. Great I thought, until they delayed it about 10 times and then released it but had actually released the wrong version so pulled it!

Eventually I was able to download the correct version and give it a whirl. I was very impressed to begin with, Codemasters have made a brilliant job at porting it over to the Xbox360. However there are quite a few pros and cons and I think it will be best if I list them here:

Pros: Still plays the same, ability to customise teams, very addictive, great list of achievements, ability to save replays etc, local multiplayer is fantastic, ability to switch back to the non-HD graphics.

Cons: The online play is truly awful! It takes ages to find a game and connect to one and then there is the constant Lag! I have only been able to successfully complete 1 match online against a guy from Cornwall (which I happened to win!) There is loads of talk about the Live Multiplayer not working very well over on the Xbox.com Forums. They need to get this fixed ASAP otherwise people are going to get very annoyed. The game costs 800 MS Points (which is to be expected), but if you pay that much you at least a expect a game that works?
Another Con is that I still find it very hard to score, thats probably down to my ability though!

Overall: Great game and still plays just as I remember it all those years ago. Let down by the Live Multiplayer though but hopefully a fix is coming soon.
